    About Your Presenter
    Stephanie Sandifer is an educator, technology coach, and author with over 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. She currently teaches online courses in general pre-service teacher education, art history, and humanities at the college level, and serves as a K-12 Technology Coach.
    As a teacher, she has taught in traditional brick-and-mortar schools at the K-12 and college levels, in a blended learning environment at the high school level, and in 100% online environments at the college level. Her work in the classroom has always included the use of emerging technologies with a focus on student-centered learning. She has also served in a variety of leadership roles as a Literacy Coach, School Improvement Facilitator, Dean of Instruction, and Curriculum Specialist. As a School Improvement Facilitator and Dean of Instruction she was directly involved in leading comprehensive school reform initiatives at two inner-city high schools in the Houston Independent School District.
    As an educator who enjoys sharing and learning with colleagues, Stephanie began exploring the use of blogging as a tool for connecting, collaborating, and communicating with others in March of 2006 when she launched the Change Agency blog. From there she has explored the use of wikis, social networking, and other Web 2.0 tools to develop a Personal Learning Network of hundreds of other educators who share her curiosity and passion for learning.
    She presents sessions and workshops on a variety of educational technology integration topics at the local, state, and national levels, and is the author of the booksWikis for School Leaders (Eye on Education, 2011) and Wikified Schools (Wakefield Publishing, 2009.) She also co-authored a chapter on Wikis with Vicki Davis inWhat school administrators need to know about digital technologies and social media (Eds. McLeod, S., & Lehmann, C. San Francisco, CA: Jossey Bass Wiley), and is a contributing author to the Education Week blog LeaderTalk.
    Her academic background includes a Master's in Education Leadership (Administration & Supervision) and post-baccalaureate coursework in K-12 Art Education from the University of Houston, a Master's in Studio Art from Purdue University, and a Bachelor's in Art & Design from McNeese State University. She is certified as a Classroom Teacher (All-Level Art and Technology Applications) and Principal (Grades EC-12) in the State of Texas.
